(NASDAQ: CNFL). Citizens was incorporated in
Kentucky and commenced business in 1965. Citizens is
licensed to sell in the District of Columbia and 20
states primarily located in the South and Northeast.
Citizens markets its portfolio of products through
the personal producing general agent distribution
system and presently has approximately 1,600 agents.
Citizens Security Life offers final expense life
insurance with a three-tiered simplified issued
application. The product has only two health
questions for coverage with a delayed benefit
(ROP+10% for three years). The other two tiers of
the plan offer immediate coverage. This company has
some of the lowest smoker rates in the nation and
can be written up to $35,000.
